1. Initial Fitness Session and Program Design

In this session we use the results of the MAT testing, client profile form, and any other medical referral information to design an effective program for home, travel, or gym to help you reach your goals. We review and correct technique; teach any necessary stretches and myofascial release techniques, and review the entire program with you. Weekly schedules and a detailed information binder are included to help you reach your goals.
1.5 hours $160 for one, $225 for two

2. Fitness Appraisal and Testing

This session includes aerobic tests (predicted VO2 max), power, strength, and flexibility tests to help you understand where all components of your fitness are currently at. Is used as a great guideline to chart improvement and to set goals and help us design your program. Includes body fat percentage prediction, body girth measurements, and weight.
1.5 hours $150 for one

3. Measurements only

This is a 20 minute session to give a quick analysis of weight, body fat % prediction, girth and we even include a sample daily calorie recommendation for your weight goals.

4. Private Training Sessions

Private fitness training in your own studio! These session can include challenging fitness training  sessions to challenge you to do more than you think you can, personal yoga sessions, myofascial release training sessions, nutrition counselling, goal setting and lifestyle planning, or any combination of the above! Each hour can be booked with different professionals, or our clients often book weekly fitness sessions with periodic changes of yoga or nutrition!
1 hour $80 for one, $100 for two, $120 for three or more.

5. Basic Program update

A new program design can be added to any session for home, travel, gym or more! Program update and sample weekly outline can also be emailed if you are not receiving it during a scheduled fitness session.

6. Advanced Training Program

A complete program design including progressions, training goals, split days and more.  Includes 4-8 weeks of training plans depending on your training cycle and goals. Can also be done for race or event preparation. This program can be emailed to you or if you go through the details/program in a personal session it is added to the session cost.

7. Nutrition Counselling

This 60 minute session includes and analysis of previously tracked caloric intake, combined with ideas, recipes, and strategies for change. Recommended caloric changes are made including long term healthy lifestyle and goal setting techniques to help the process.

8. Running Analysis

Detailed videotaped running and walking analysis is done to identify problems, weaknesses, prevent injury and help improve performance. Technique is assessed on running at various speeds, treadmill, outdoor, uphill, down hill and speed work. Corrections are made on site, and homework is given to correct any imbalances or weaknesses. Written summary and CD sent after the session for reference and help. Information package with exercises and stretches included!
1 hour $150 for one, $200 for two

9. FMS- Functional Movement Screen

This is an incredible assessment tool where highly trained professionals analyze and correct muscle imbalances, restrictions and faulty movement patterns. This is extremely effective for everyone; including seriously injured to elite populations. In this session we can immediately determine weaknesses, imbalances, faulty movement patterns and more! In this session after initial testing, we work on corrective patterns to re-train your movements, help muscles recruit effectively and in the correct order, correct current mechanisms of injury, prevent future injury and improve performance and health. Highly recommended before ANY exercise program is designed, as post-rehab after any injury, and for anyone looking to increase their intensity of training.

2. 5 AMAZING 45-60 minute sessions to start aligning body and treat weak areas. May include personal training

3. BEST DEAL! 2 x 1.5 hour & 8 x 1 hours sessions and can include:

  • MAT Jumpstart Testing (1.5 hours)

GST: Prices do not include GST and may be changed without notice
KIDS: Kids under 12 train for free with parents
CANCELLATIONS: Trainers and private studios are booked specifically for you so there is a strict 48 hour cancellation policy. Full price will be charged for missed sessions. Special considerations may apply.
TRAVEL: $40 will be added to any session outside of the Fitness Fix studio and within Calgary.

 

 

The Fitness Fix and Children

The Fitness Fix encourages beginning a healthy lifestyle at a young age. Part of our commitment to this healthy lifestyle is to encourage parents to bring their children with them to Fitness Fix Classes. Children under the age of 9 are free and teenagers between 10 and 18 are charged a nominal fee of 1/2 price drop in or $65 for a 10 class pass. Parents are responsible for the safety and security of their children while they are at the Fitness Fix facility. Children under the age 9 that attend a parents personal training session are free.
