Kim’s enthusiasm for fitness laid the foundation for her path as a Certified Muscle System Specialist (CMSS). Her personal experiences with back pain and a diagnosis of Spondylolisthesis (a spinal condition that occurs when on vertebra slips out of place onto the vertebra below) have given her a unique perspective on being a pain patient and a renewed devotion in helping other return to a more active lifestyle.
Her inquisitive nature and fascination with movement and understanding how the body works continue to aid patients in returning to lifestyles they were forced to alter due to injuries, surgeries, accidents, and wear and tear. For more than 17 years, Kim has developed extensive experience in creating solutions to help the body better solve motion problems and handle daily physical stresses.
Kim volunteers to teach classes for cancer patients and survivors, understanding that whole-body strength is critical to well-being. She is known for her discretion and focused one-on-one attention, allowing her to perform physical assessments and muscular manipulation effectively. This focused attention enables her to assess the health of the muscular system and its role in joint stability, fatigue, chronic pain, and injury. Kim's experience includes working with diverse patients, such as those recovering from strokes, motor vehicle accidents, youth returning to sports after injuries, and seniors striving to regain their quality of life.
